بركة البكري نائب رئيس جمعية النور للمكفوفين تنظم جمعية
النور للمكفوفين تحدى رياضي للدراجات الرباعية بمنتجع سما
الواصل برمال الشرقية بسلطنة عمان يوم الخميس الأول من
مارس والجمعة الثاني من مارس 2007 وكل العائدات والأرباح
من هذا الحدث ستذهب إلى جمعية النور المكفوفين.
وأفادت صاحبة السمو السيدة / علياء آل سعيد والتي هي صاحبة
فكرة هذا الحدث أن أهم هدف من هذا الحدث هو نشر أهمية
التقيد بأنظمة السلامة وحماية البيئة بين شبابنا سائقين
الدراجات.
كما أضافت الفاضلة / بركة البكري أن الفكرة من إقامة هذا
الحدث في مكان خارج المدينة كانت فكرة مشتركة بين الجمعية
وشركة ياماها لبلورة عامل الوعي بين من لهم فكرة شراء مثل
هذه الدراجات.
هذا التحدي والذي يعد الأول من نوعه في المنطقة والذي
تنظمه الجمعية بالتعاون مع شركة ياماها أقترح أيضا أن يضم
بعض قواعد تدريب ركوب هذه الدراجات خلال الحدث وتعزيز
سلامة الوعي بين الشباب وسيقوم بهذا التدريب المحترف /
فيصل الزدجالي من الزبير للسيارات ( ياماها ) حيث أفاد أن
برنامج تدريب كلاً على حده سيعلم المشاركين كيفية
الاستمتاع بقيادة الدراجة باستعمال أقصى إمكانياتها ، كما
سيشمل البرنامج إطلاعهم على التقنيات والأساليب في قيادة
مثل هذه الدراجات والاستمتاع بالقيادة ضمن إطار السلامة.
وقامت شركة
Eventus
والمنظمة للحدث باقتراح نطاقين للتحدي نطاق أقصى مسافة
ونطاق التحكم والسرعة ضمن دواعي السلامة وستكون هنالك
جوائز نقدية بقيمة - / 1800 ريال.
رسوم المشاركة :- - / 10 ريالات دخول فقط – ( - /20
ريالات دخول وتغذية ) و - / 30 ريال تتضمن دخول وتغذية
وإقامة ليلة واحده في المخيم في منتجع سما الواصل.

GENERAL RULES
(DISCLAIMER)
1:Off
road Quading is a hazardous sport, and with participation being
voluntary, no entrant, pit crew member or vehicle sponsor shall
have any claim for damages, expenses, lawsuits or otherwise
against promoter, track operator, AL NOOR and/or its affiliates
arising from damage to any vehicle, personal injury or death, or
monetary loss of any kind whatsoever. Entrants, pit crew members
or vehicle sponsors who voluntarily participate in any racing
activities conducted under these rules, waive any claim they may
have against promoter, track operator, AL NOOR and/or its
affiliates
2:
The promoter or track operator may run any type of approved AL
NOOR event.
3:
The Event director shall have the authority to penalize,
disqualify and/or suspend any entrant or crewmember for the
violation of these rules including special rulings.
4:
AL NOOR may issue special rulings to account for conditions
presented by the location of the race, the condition of the
course or any other circumstance.
5:
Supplementary regulations may be issued for each event as
necessary to amend, suspend or modify existing rules and
regulations.
6:
AL NOOR and/or its affiliates Assumes no responsibility
whatsoever for delays, postponements and/or cancellations of all
or part of an event because of inclement weather, unnatural
course conditions and/or any other reason.
7:
AL NOOR and/or its affiliates Reserves the right to refuse
and/or deny any entry application with no reason given out.
8:
Displacement modifications are legal by boring and stroking a
motor to increase displacement within the displacement
guidelines per class. Boring down to decrease displacement is
strictly prohibited.
9:
All Quad riders must have a working kill switch or tether cord
kill switch (ATV).
10:
No rider is permitted to carry gasoline except for within the
machine's fuel tank.
11:
Safety equipment and machine eligibility are the sole
responsibility of the rider. Safety requirements are:
Helmet, Gloves, Long trousers,
Shoes and preferably a body armor
12:
ABSOLUTELY NO PIT RIDING ALLOWED AT ANY EVENT
ENTRANTS
Categories of entry
o
10 years to 17 years – 50 cc to 250 cc
o
18 years and above – 350 cc and over
1:
Any entrant who fails to fully fill out and sign required entry
forms and releases shall be disqualified and shall forfeit any
prize money, points and contingencies won in that particular
event. Entry forms and releases must be signed in person form
the website. Entry personnel. Identification may be required.
2:
No entrant may enter racing areas until they have signed all
releases and/or entry forms. No person shall sign the release or
entry forms for anyone other than himself or herself.. Proper
identification will be required (i.e., picture ID).
3:
The entry applications of persons under the age of 18 must have
a parent or legal guardian sign the release form.
4:Any entry after deadline date of will be denied entry

Any entrant who competes on a vehicle that he/she is not
registered to ride or permits such action, shall forfeit any and
all prize money, points and contingencies won in that particular
event. Such action may result in vehicle disqualification.
5:
Briefing and HSE attendance before the event is compulsory and
will have an attendance sheet, The sheet works towards
completing any entrants registration form

To enter event, teams must:

Entry fees are:

RO 10 (entry fee)
o
RO 20 (entry fee with food and
beverage for duration of event)
o
RO 30 (entry fee, Food and beverage
and accommodation)
EVENT COURSE
1: A marked course is that official route designated by and
marked with official AL NOOR Markings. All vehicles must follow
this route during the event. No vehicle may deviate from the
marked course at any time. Passing is only permitted where at
designated zones on the side of the course. Short coursing is
not permitted and will result in disqualification. Short
coursing is defined as any deviation from the marked course
resulting in either a time or position advantage. AL NOOR. is
not responsible for markings that are damaged or removed. All
vehicles must proceed only in the correct direction of the
course route or trail. Riding backwards on the course at any
time is prohibited. Riding backwards on the course is grounds
for penalties of up to and including disqualification.
RULE INFRACTIONS/PENALTIES
A.
Race vehicle traveling on the racecourse in the reverse
direction of
the race, at any time: Disqualification.
B.
Pit support vehicles traveling on the racecourse at any time:
Disqualification.
C.
Abusive conduct toward a race official: Disqualification,
suspension, or any combination of the two.
D.
Short coursing: Disqualification.
E.
No show or late entry
